Marvin Brannon Overby Marvin Brannon Overby, 61, died Friday, July 30, 2004. The service took place Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004, at Parkview Baptist Church in Eufaula, Ala., with burial at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Chapman Funeral Home (334-687-3514) handled arrangements. He was born Nov. 19, 1942, in Cuthbert, Ga., the son of Paul Edwin and Ruby Lee Riley Overby. He coached the Florida State University bowling team. He is survived by two daughters, Melanie Overby Snowden (and husband Corky) of Prattville, Ala., and Kelly Overby Byrd (and husband Alan) of Mobile, Ala.; a son, Matt Overby (and wife Charlee) of Destin; two sisters, Kathy Benton (and husband Jeff) of Birmingham, Ala., and Joyce Walker (and husband Ray) of Houston, Miss.; a brother, Bob Overby (and wife Donna) of Little Rock, Ark.; and two grandchildren, Sydney Snowden and Mackenzie Byrd.
