Wesley Stephens Sr., 57, who owned a mechanic/ maintenance
service, died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005. The service will be at 11
a.m. EST Thursday at Rock Bluff Assembly of God Church in
Bristol, with burial at the church cemetery. Family will receive
friends from 6 to 8 p.m. EST today at Culley's MeadowWood
Funeral Home, Riggins Road Chapel (850-877-8191). In lieu of
flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American
Heart Association, 326 Williams St., Tallahassee, FL 32303.
Wesley passed away at home after surviving the loss of his wife,
Marcine Stephens, on Sept. 2, 1999. He was an avid hunter (How
Bout It 48!); a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S.
Army; and was a local businessman. Survivors include a son, John
Wesley Stephens Jr.; a daughter, Deena Stephens Miller; two
grandsons, Thomas Gage Stephens and Austin Dakota Miller; a
granddaughter, Ashley Marcine Miller; two sisters; and three
brothers. He will be missed by all who knew him. Let us never
